Handmade Christmas!

Very excited to be able to give a handmade gift to the people whose names I pulled for both family gift exchanges!

My little sister has a Maplelea Doll (Canadian version of American Girl Doll) and two Bitty Baby dolls. So far this is what I have for her (I think I need to stop soon!)

Doll Shawl:

Fur Trimmed Coat, Bonnet, and Boots and matching handbag

Messenger Bag/Diaper Bag with matching messenger bag for doll

Made a matching change pad, wipes case with a dozen cloth wipes, and a set of boy and set of girl diapers for the Bitty Twins.

A nightgown and pajamas for the Bitty Twins.

I think I'm close to done! This is getting a bit out of hand...

Knitting Frenzy

Haven't been doing as much sewing lately - knitting is easier to pick up and do a bit here and there. Here's what I've finished in the last few months.

Found this paprika wool on clearance, and overdyed some of it. I striped the resulting "pomander" with the original paprika. Became a lovely shawl for fall!

Reviving!

So after more than half a year of nothing, I have plans to revive and keep up to date on this blog! I'm hoping to use it to post tutorials every now and then too, so check back!

Sag Cincher Tutorial

I saw Dapper Snappers on Babysteals yesterday, and thought - great idea, but no way can I shell out $20 (incl shipping) for 3 of these... Therefore, I made one myself!!

Hopefully this is a solution for my skinny dude's potty learning days (and probably longer!). Here is a tutorial if you want to try yourself!
